FAQ: Black Screen
If you happen encounter a black screen after an ad has been shown, you may have to restart the app. To restart the app use the following instructions:
- Double click the home button on your device. You should then see a list of your currently running apps along the bottom of the screen.
- Press the close button on crosswords to shut it down.
- Press the home button again to close the task manager.
- Re launch crosswords by tapping on the app again.

FAQ: Accessing the tutorial
You may access the tutorial from the main menu of the app. To get to the main menu, tap the checker icon that is found in the clue bar at the top of the screen (in landscape mode the bar is only visible when a clue is selected.) Once the main menu is showing you may select the tutorial option. While the tutorial is showing, just tap the screen to view each segment. If you need to exit the tutorial before it has completed you may use the close button that shows in the top left corner.
Please note that the tutorial is only available in landscape mode. If you have turned on the orientation lock for your device, you may need disable it to rotate to landscape mode.
